Leimen is a beautiful small town south of Heidelberg. We stayed at a beautiful family owned hotel there for a month in 1999 while traveling to a variety of US Army bases near by on business. To this day, I am grateful that my first stay in Europe was in such a place instead of a big American style hotel.

The town was beautiful to walk through, lots of historically interesting structures, and naturally an excellent brewery. It is also a quick trolley ride to old town Heidelberg where there was also excellent beer in great quantities.
